Motivational Talk by Dr Tazli Azizan

Salam,
Petang tadi attend talk by Dr Tazli. Nak menangis dgr cita dia.Dugaan yg menimpa beliau ketika menyambung PhD. Journey of his PhD. Bila dah dgr talk dari Dr Tazli, terus dah ubah niat if one fine day I pursue phD, it is for ummah. Not for the tittle. Dulu berangan nak sambung phd sebab nak dpt title Dr. tak dapat jadi doktor perubatan, dapat Dr dari Phd pon jadi la.Tapi itu dah berubah sejak petang tadi.

Just sharing tips I got from him regarding journey while doing MSc/PhD/Life:

1. Develop passion, relate the studies to the creator's knowledge (Everything come from ALLAH)
2. Effective communication (get excited on your findings and sharing with your friends,presentation skills and the most important the persuasive skills (to convince people to help you especially during analysing/testing samples)
3.Humility and humbleness win the heart.
4.Organize & Organize & Organize ( You know what need to be settle first,the priority= time management)
5.Prayers keep the momentum of the day ( add your amal ibadah. add solat sunat Dhuha & Thajud)
6.Fulfill the rights to the family members (make your family happy with your presence & attention)
7. Take pride in your work. reward yourself ( Yeay, nak reward myself dgn tudung aidijuma weekend ni sbb ada satu paper dah publish.hehehe. skrang dah macam addicted dgn tudung aidijuma,tiap2 hari buka FB nak tgk if ada release design baru.heheh)
8.Perseverance and patience
9. Vent your stress (socialize, shopping, vacation )
10.Acceptance the outcomes.


And and he shared with us that his wife quit from PhD TODAY!.
Either you complete the journey or you fail. MOVE ON!MOVE ON!
